Lofty Ladies

Come join us on Monday nights for our women’s only group road ride. We meet at Oneida Shores parking area around 6:00 pm to get ready for a fun ride with great bunch of people! Meet new friends and learn about road riding in a group. Bike handling skills, pace line riding experience, and how/when to shift gears are just some of the skills that can be learned from these rides. The rides start on the shorter side and grow progressively longer as the season goes on and daylight allows. All levels welcome, no one gets left behind. Helmet required, hydration recommended. Mechanical support is available prior to and during the ride. Whether you’re looking to get into the sport of cycling or improve your cycling skills, these rides can definitely help out any level of rider!!

beginner mountain bike rides

Thursday Evenings, 6:00 p.m.
Great Bear Recreation Area, Fulton

These co-ed rides are focused on helping riders gain confidence while mountain biking at one of the most beginner-friendly trail systems in our area. They double as rolling skills clinics, where riders can ask questions in a friendly, non-threatening environment. They learn technical skills and techniques so they can practice and improve their mountain biking abilities as they’re riding. The most important focus of the ride is geared toward having fun on your bike in the woods!

fRIDAY MORNING SHOP RIDES

This is a spirited road ride leaving from the shop on Friday mornings. Looking to challenge yourself? Looking to ride at a fast pace? This is a co-ed road ride that is generally 20-25 miles long, although some weeks the rides may go longer. The average pace is 18+ mph including sprints and recoveries, but it is a no-drop ride; the group will wait for everyone at designated points and make sure that no one is left behind. This is a great, fast ride to work on speed intervals and practice riding in a peloton/pace line. This ride will push your limits but what doesn’t kill you will make you a stronger rider!
